My name is Remy and I’m the guy behind Forever Grooves. I’m a DJ from the south coast of New South Wales, though have recently made the decision to move to Melbourne in October! Wherever I am, DJ’ing is without a doubt my favourite thing to do - I’ve been at it for over 13 years! My underlying desire for DJ’ing lays in non-commercial dance music, though I’ve always had an appreciation for the more tasteful side of pop, and the so called ‘guilty pleasures’ that most of us indulge in from time to time. Forever Grooves is the culmination of these two different sides of my music taste.
I was tired of seeing the same stock standard DJ’s at weddings, and knew there was an appetite in the market for unique and groovy music; something not offered by the generic top-40 DJ. Having grown up on many different styles and genres across several decades, I knew I had the broad music knowledge that is necessary as a DJ to keep all age groups happy and having fun on the dance floor. I knew I needed some killer DJ’s to help me out, so after a couple of calls to my favourite selectors in the area, Forever Grooves was born.
